I'll be editing this a lot to include other people's suggestions, first just throw out MMO's that you have played and like and still currently play. Later on we can vote for ones that we all want to play.
I believe it's best we find a game someone else is playing rather than start off fresh with a new because if that new MMO fails, we'll just have wasted some time. At least with this we have some feedback and recommendations.
I would just like to encourage adding in games that are free(makes it easier on everyone and not all of us have the means of paying for online MMOs like WoW) Also, please try keeping these age friendly...since we have a lot of people -16 here.
Here are my MMOs: FlyFF(Fly for fun) Site: http://flyff.gpotato.com/v16/index.html From my understanding and playing, the background story was about 3 continents separated...really I just remember the features which were flying, and all the events they have that makes everyone rich.
Shaiya Site: http://shaiya.aeriagames.com/ This is about two different sides, Dark and Light when you first play you get to choose what side you want to play on (I have two accounts for both so don't worry about what side) this game seems to be a bit more 15+ because of a few topless mobs on the Light side and the slight very slight nudity on the Dark side...It says it's for 18+ but I don't see any real R rated material.
I'm just listing these two because RO(Ragnarok Online) has too many private servers and I don't know which would be suitable, plus the community is not as nice as it used to be...
I also play Audition, but it's a dancing game rather than an MMO.
MMO list: Fly For Fun Shaiya League of Legends Lord of the Rings Online Runes of Magic Jade Dynasty
Notes: Sorry about this if it's not in my place, but I'm just letting the community decide, if you do or don't want to play the MMO we pick than that's just your choice, no one is forced to play anything.

Looking at the list of actual well established F2P MMO's.... LoTRO - Lord of the Rings Online.
The company for this game has recently turned it over to f2p, just like how they did Dungeons and Dragons Online (this turnover to f2p has made it gain back a LOT of playerbase) It features a lot of content, can do low to very pretty graphics, and gameplay is fun. It has a lot of lore pertaining to the books.
RoM - Runes of Magic
Another f2p, and probably one of the better ones when it comes to content. Graphics seem decent.
Those are the ones I'd like to throw up in the air that I am interested in currently playing. f2p market doesn't excite me as much so I can only offer 2 ._.
I'd throw in RO if it was a medium sized server with a decent amount of people and was a low low rate...
Otherwise any p2p games I'd prolly enjoy...

As we discussed in chat free games would be the best and trying to keep it at a good age rating for people in the guild. So I would recommend two good MMO's that I play/played, the first one is Lord of the Rings Online and the second one would have to be League of Legends, both are easy to download with easy instructions and they are simple and fun to play. I reccommend that when choosing server locations we should go for the US as most of the guild are there and the people that aren't shouldn't have any problems playing it with them. Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) - This is a free to pay MMO with high quality game play and graphics I would highly recommend this to people who enjoy playing RPG's, you basicly make your own character and progress in the game leveling up etc like most other MMORPG's. Races and Classes intro -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lAB7OA7AZY&feature=related Character Creation -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxfO9_pQhCg
League of Legends (LoL) - This is a free to play RTS/RPG game, this is a very fun game to play and you can have 3v3 and 5v5 or 1v1's whichever why you want to play. I think it would be a good game for the guild with all the multiplayer options, in the game you basicly level up your character and as you do that you can increase you characters abilities to make them stronger, faster or whatever. It is one of the best games I play online right now and it isn't hard to manage. The trailer is good but and the link for it is here if you want to watch it.
Anyways post some of the games you play and think would be good to play as a guild below.

I added them all to the top post. I will start a poll this saturday, please make your suggestions.
@Mac: Downs told me you pretty much have to donate to play that game if you want to be successful in it, but I'd just play for you guys anyway.

LotRO? Couple things wrong with that statement... It's not a private server. You aren't 'donating'. Everything is a legitimate purchase. Paying doesn't make you successful in this type of game. Just gives you access to most content past 20. 'pay2win' is another term you hear about f2p games. It's pretty much impossible to find a mmo title worthwhile without spending money.
I say it's worth the time and effort put into it anyway. If it's enjoyable, why not.

I have better things to pay for rather than buy things in a video game that can easily get hacked or that I won't play with permanently. Also, when I said donation my mind set was on purchasing, and don't lecture me about how wrong I am, it's one of the things I hate most. I know what a legitimate purchase is I just came out with the word "Donation"

Hacked? Don't give your password out or use your legit password on private servers. Same goes for email address. I've been playing MMO's since 2004, never been hacked, and played private servers constantly.
Wont play a game permanently? I don't even remember 90% of the movies I've went and saw, which typically run for 10 bucks each plus more at the movie theater, for at most 2.5 hours of entertainment.
MMO's take a long butt time to create, refine, and improve. Sorry, I'm all for getting paid for my hard work and effort. (it seems in f2p you generally spend more money anyway)
Neither this nor my previous post was meant to be a lecture. That was a Mac Quote anyway...

You don't have to donate to get past level 20 it is only if you want to do a little bit extra in the game my friend has a level 65 character and he didn't pay for it. You can be successful at the end whether you want to pay or not.

Look, I'd love to pay for an MMO, but I don't have money or a job to pay for them and I sure as heck don't want someone else paying it for me. Also, my email has gotten hacked before, I don't feel safe buying items and equips for a game when they can be so easily taken. And like I said, there's games like FlyFF and Audition where you only buy things if you really want to. Which people do, and donation items are available through buying anyway.
Road I am fully aware that I don't have to pay past level 20, but according to Downs, in order to "not suck" I would have to buy items to make my character better. I'm playing anyway to see if that's true, because I'm sure there is a build that can probably work against that.
Look as I said, I'm playing anyway, if I like it I'll probably buy stuff when I gt a job, if not I won't care much and just keep messing around on it without buying anything.

Oh when you said you didn't like buying things since they could be easily hacked, I thought you meant YOU could hack and get them, but you were talking about OTHER people hacking you, oh...

I was on youtube and ran across this video it is great for people who don't know much about LoTRO. It basicly shows you gameplay when you start off in the game and I would say it looks good.

EvE online? I've played that. I have a 16mil+ sp character. Only thing is, it's very much a niche game and you learn skills by how much time has passed, which can vary from 30min to 7~ days for low skills, and 7 days to 30 days for high level skills, sometimes more or less. I like the game but from experience, i doubt others would be so optimistic.
