PostSubject: An MMO we can call home?   Mon Feb 28, 2011 5:54 pm

First topic message reminder :

I'll be editing this a lot to include other people's suggestions, first just throw out MMO's that you have played and like and still currently play. Later on we can vote for ones that we all want to play.

I believe it's best we find a game someone else is playing rather than start off fresh with a new because if that new MMO fails, we'll just have wasted some time. At least with this we have some feedback and recommendations.

I would just like to encourage adding in games that are free(makes it easier on everyone and not all of us have the means of paying for online MMOs like WoW) Also, please try keeping these age friendly...since we have a lot of people -16 here.

Here are my MMOs:
FlyFF(Fly for fun)
Site: http://flyff.gpotato.com/v16/index.html
From my understanding and playing, the background story was about 3 continents separated...really I just remember the features which were flying, and all the events they have that makes everyone rich.

Shaiya
Site: http://shaiya.aeriagames.com/
This is about two different sides, Dark and Light when you first play you get to choose what side you want to play on (I have two accounts for both so don't worry about what side) this game seems to be a bit more 15+ because of a few topless mobs on the Light side and the slight very slight nudity on the Dark side...It says it's for 18+ but I don't see any real R rated material.

I'm just listing these two because RO(Ragnarok Online) has too many private servers and I don't know which would be suitable, plus the community is not as nice as it used to be...

I also play Audition, but it's a dancing game rather than an MMO.

MMO list:
Fly For Fun
Shaiya
League of Legends
Lord of the Rings Online
Runes of Magic
Jade Dynasty

Notes: Sorry about this if it's not in my place, but I'm just letting the community decide, if you do or don't want to play the MMO we pick than that's just your choice, no one is forced to play anything.

I spent like an hour browsing through the lotro store last night, and I noticed there was a mount section in there (under "travel"), but of course you gotta pay turbine points, so real money.

You get turbine points for doing things in game as well, so you don't have to pay for it - its just quicker that way

I am reviving this topic.

There are plenty of us out there who need to be more involved with the rest of the guild. So heres the new procedure:

1. Make A list of all MMORPG's you are currently involved in
-make an advertisement for one of them and put the game in bold

2.For you advertisement, go to youtube.com and show us the most decent video of the game if possible, if not show some screenshots.

3. Tell us about the game, its concept, what to do, etc.
-tell us why you like it

4. (optional) leave a download to the game or the main website so we can check more about the game on our own.

For people commenting you should do the same. Leave your opinion of the game posted above you. If you are going to make an advertisement, just do the same stuff. If you want you can compare and contrast your game to another game someone else has posted.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I play: Minecraft Beta, FlyFF, and Pokemon Online (not to be confused with pwo, more like a battle simulator)

Basicly Minecraft (MC) is a great game. There are tons of different things you can do! With lots of blocks to custom make, or in any case have someone make for you, there are many possibilities. Make a house, a castle, a sculpture, a series of underground networks, a city, town, villiage, railroads, waterslides, death traps....ANYTHING!!!! In singleplayer you have to provide everything for yourself to ensure your safety. So you would make a shelter and be safe because creepers, mobs and even spiders may come at you. In multiplayer, its the same (unless your on Link's server, which there is no evil) . I really enjoy playing this game because it makes me feel creative and imaginative, and its always good to see other's perspective on how they play/think/build.

Normally you would have to pay to play this game by purchasing it in a local retailer, but you can get it through anyone who has it pretty much. The only difference with playing for free is that you are limited to servers you can play on and you cant change your skin, unless there is a specific mod for it. Otherwise it's a really great game and I think that lots of us would like it because its easy going Smile

By clicking Here!, you will be brought to the main site. You can check whats there yourselves. cherry

Ari, minecraft isn't considered an MMO. Everyone in the guild is already playing or has played it. I think we should play an MMO that actually has a guild system.

Minecraft isn't an MMO, we don't even play LEGITIMATELY on a server. Everyone has all these powers to just give themselves stuff instead of playing the game for real.

No Lewa they are right. We dont exactly have powers, more like privledges. i dont believe I can kick or ban, but i can just say a command and it gives me a 64 set of blocks. If the real way is what we want, maybe Eupharia should open up a new server and maybe I should go out and physicly buy the real deal Razz

Theres a big difference between a classic server and a beta server, i doubt Squishy's laptop would be able to handle a it
