| The name of the topic says it all. If you have a prayer request, post it down below for the guild to pray. You can also voice your support to previous requests that have already been made.
I'll ask that no one make light of any of the requests or the topic itself when posting.

| There's a tornado warning in the suburbs around Dallas, TX. I have cousins who live there and may be in danger. Please pray for their safety and everyone else in the area. | |

| I would like to pray for the depressed/sad/lonley/emo kids, who may have lost someone close to them, experienced a major change/disturbance in their life, or find no more reason to live | |

| I pray for all those suffering in the mid-west U.S.
There is no reason why these people should be suffering with those tornados and floods.

| After the fact looking back in retrospect it was a very serious event. Whole homes ripped out of the ground. Damn what can I say. Also bizarre though, since the other side of the streets of said houses were completely fine. Precise tornado is precise in who's home must be smited. | |

| Though they may look fine, there's still severe structural damage done to those homes. I ask you, as a Kansas man myself, that if you can spare the change in your pocket for a relief fund jar, please do so. Your couple bucks of change make a huge difference for people without a home to go to. | |

| I usually support any relief cause and have so for many years (since middle school actually). My family and I usually donate money and food supplies and are doing so in this cause as well. I'm sorry for all those who lost their homes and I wish more than anything that they will recover. Too bad I'm still in school or I'd join habitat for humanity and help build some homes but for now I'm donating money =) | |

| The other day at a Sugarland concert in Indiana, a very rough storm had been aproaching. Some fans in the crowd say it was almost like a tornado was about to start. The winds were so strong that the outdoor concert stage had collapsed on 44 people. 4 reported dead and the others injured. The concert of course was canceled because of this.
May we pray for those 4 unfortunate souls who lost their lives the other day at the Sugarland concert at the Indiana State Fair. May we also pray for those known 40 people injured from it as well.

| When I first saw the clip on the news of the stage falling, I couldn't believe it. I mean that was a giant stage collapsing and the sad part was that they didn't even see the concert before-hand. I pray for the ones in the hospital still and hope that they have a speedy recovery.
With that said, I don't want to be taken the wrong way but, I also felt that they should have known better (people at the concert) that not only had that happened in the past (not sure if it's that exact state, but relatively close to there) but the fact that there was 60 - 70 mph winds there on a stormy night... I mean yeah it's Sugarland... but to me that's not worth risking my life to see. But I fully understand people's excitement and boredom of their summer so I in no way blame them for anything - it's just something I thought about when they repeated it in the news.
Now Robin is freaking out about going to the county fair this week... I told her the weather is fine, it'll be during the day, we'll stay away from any concert venues, but she took a shock hearing that news and doesn't wanna go anymore =/
Edit: Actually now that I think about it, the people running the fair should have known better than to force a concert during bad weather, yet everything comes down to money it seems.

| Weather in that region is like thunderstorms in Texas. It pops up with no warning at all. I don't blame the organizers for something they can't control. | |

| Robin asked me to send a smaller prayer to the state of Oklahoma. If you guys didn't know, they had their first severe earthquake last weekend and yesterday severe tornadoes raged through the southern part of the state. Right now they're facing severe thunderstorms through the entire state. Robin has a few relatives and friends out there and although they are all doing alright, she still worries for their well being during this difficult time in OK. I just wanted to ask that you guys to keep the state in your thoughts as they tough through the worse of the bit. Hopefully things will get better for them. | |

| I'd also like to point out a co-worker I know who was 6 months pregnant. I had to recently take over her shift because she was in the hospital. Last night I found out she had an infection and had her baby prematurely. I wish to send out prayers so that her daughter will safely mature in the hospital and that Kayla will be alright. | |

| Yesterday at about 1pm our campus ministry administrator died of an impromptu heart attack at age like 53. He was Irish. I think I found out at 5 something yesterday from Facebook. I had him as a theology teacher this year (Global Bridges, class is on hiatus now it seems). He also heads the school's FBLA program, and a contributive organization called XBSS (which I failed to obtain admission). Since no one knows him or anything, I won't say more about his person than that everybody liked him, had an extreme sense of joyful humor, was selflessly caring and helpful, and other traits that just seem cliche out of context unless you know im. The school chapel was open all day for people to randomly miss class to pray, or drop a trinket off on this like memorial table thing. We were schedueled to have his class today, so I wrote a letter during that time I think. | |
