| I have finally released my server and made a download available. It will be released on the forums for anyone that wants to play and it won't be officially released to the players of RO for a week so we can get the site completely done. Economy Rules
-GMs are prohibited from opening a shop in town unless told or instructed otherwise.
-You are not allowed to buy items from open player shops or distribute zeny with items for players.
-No GM should give any zeny to any player under any circumstance unless told by an Admin.(Read legit rules!)
Forum Rules
-In the case that a player has made a topic that promotes an argument in any way(aka Flamer) please notify the Admin
before taking any authoritative action unless you are told otherwise. Also do not reply to the flamer unless the admin has
given you permission to do so! Only the Admin is allowed to respond to flamers.
-As the rules for the players it is illegal to post any pornographic images. This includes (ecchi, hentai, yaoi, yif, etc.)
-Do not insult or offend anyone in forums also be sure to watch what you say.
-Anything mentioned in the player rules for forums is also forwarded to the GMs
-Please do not ban or warn a player without my knowing or permission(warning only holds out until we have a
ridiculous amount of mods)
Event Rules
-Do not hand out zeny as a prize for events unless told otherwise
-Do not use rare cards as a prize for events
-You are not allowed to favor a player during an event or help a player win an event.
-Do not rewarp a player after they have been eliminated from any event.
-If an event requires GM generated monsters(@spawn) the maximum limit is 100-200 a time.
-Please do not host any huge events in a main city, namely Prontera, Alberta, and Morocc.
Community Rules
(Forum Community rules comply with these)
-Do not ban, mute, or jail without cause or for no reason.
-Be kind and respectful to the players and no arguing.(Unless you're good friends)
-Please make sure you are still professional in your chit-chat with the players.
-As tough as it may be, do not give special treatment to any friends(i.e. Going easy on them with punishments or
letting them get away with anything)
-It is also prohibited to help any player level or mvp.
Command Rules
- Do not use any flashy or distracting commands without a good reason.(Nuking cross is completely exceptional as long as
other players don't mind.)
-GMs are not allowed to randomly warp to a player unless they are either friends or the player is a suspected bot.
(Use @hide)
-Do not use @recall and warp a player to you, don't use this to help the player either. (Exceptions are during an event and if the player
has given you permission to do so)
-Some commands will only be available to the admins for added precautions.(Usually server wide commands like @reloadscript
and @stfu)
-No spawning monsters in the middle of a town or common field. Please choose an unpopulated map or a map that
players can not access.
-Do not revive players that have died on a field or accept the request of a player to be revived.(This goes for pvp
and mvping. Please do not revive friends)
Legit Rules
-You are not allowed to make any contact between your legit account and your GM account. This includes:
-No item distribution.
-Do not give your legit money!
-Do not spawn any mobs for your legit to kill.
-Lastly, it is prohibited to log on your legit while on your GM account (this is only exempt if the sole purpose
is to help protect your legit's identity)
-GMs are not allowed to WoE with their legits, PvP is fine as long as no one knows who you are
-Do not participate in any events with your legits
(Also note that every character on your GM account must start with 'GM'(this is so we don't take character names away form the players
and so that they know you are a GM. To make a legit you must do it on a non-GM account)
General GM Rules
-GMs are forbidden to WoE at all(this means soloing with no guild as well)
-You are not allowed to join a guild with your GM account
-Do not participate in PvP and only go to a map to hang out not to fight or kill everyone
- Do not do anything to the server without my consent.
-What the admin's final say goes, unless persuaded otherwise.(I do keep open ears though, it's just when I finally declare something)
GM Rules are posted so you can report GMs who do not follow these rules. I also had a lot of GMs drop out before the release so slots WILL be open, but in order to be a GM I would like you guys to gain experience with the game and show responsibility. I think that's it for the server explanation, for anyone that wants to play can, please note there will be a lot of updating and changes. Also, I won't be on tomorrow morning, but I can leave my GM afk in the town called "Prontera" Downs should be on shortly if you play and will be able to assist you. So will some of my GMs I believe. Can't wait see you guys on. Please understand I'm not trying to change the game we play, this is just because a few members said they would play my server when I did open it, so I decided to release it here first. | Sure I plan to make NPCs that help out 'noobs'(Sorry RO players call them that) to find the location of certain training spots and other useful NPCs.
When you get on, go a little south and you'll see a portal in the building i'll be sitting next to, go inside and there will be NPCs. Talk to the one thats called "Novice Trader" buy some potions (around 200-500) and then all the gears except for the armlets. Then go back outside and you can head (from the middle of Prontera(where the big statue thing is)) west, east or south. And there will be porings in either one that you can kill. Once you get to Job Level 10 (bottom exp bar in your character info) you can change your job. She will be in the same building as the Novice Trader. And if you don't know after this explanation then just walk around and do random stuff or explore lol

| When you log in you will be able to do a walkthrough playable tutorial to help you out. Its quite informative and it really got me on the right track. Hope that helps | |

| the .exe is a whole installer. To run RO you need several different folders and files rather than just a client like PWO. The installer is there for people who have never played RO before to create an RO folder for them. It also creates a shortcut to the client. Some people don't know how to use .rar/.zip files so it just makes it easier like this. Compressing wouldn't really change anything about the size either.
For people who have played RO and know how to change between servers, there is a light RO download in zip format since the assumption would be that these people do know how to use those types of files if they understand how to 'server jump.' Basically, we have the full version in the installer format to make it "noob friendly" so anyone can play without having to know how to manage with WinRAR or 7zip. | |

I have fixed the tutorial so everything you need to know is right there, there's a class explanation NPC. Although, he only explains the classes "Thief, Acolyte, Archer, Merchant, Swordsman, and Mage." Since Gunslinger, Ninja, Taekwon kid, Super Novice are what's called "Extended classes" and the official server of RO never added them in. If you guys want the explanation for these added, I can do that myself to help.
Oh! and if you look at my old old story of Ragnarok there's an explanation of the class tree there :3. | |
