| After a somewhat lengthy discussion with michael on the forum chat, theres several things to make aware to the guild.
Guild funds: The guild funds (which is whats in the guild bank) is used to keep the guild alive, used to transfer ownership of the guild, and will probably used for other things in the future (such as guild HQ).
How it works: Each member is generally expected to contribute to the guild bank. However this may change from guild to guild depending on the leaders. About once a month a guild tax or fee will be assessed removing so much money from the guild in order for it to stay alive. If the guild bank stays below 0 for too long it will get deleted!
How guild tax is assessed: Currently the guild is tax 5k per member a month! (unsure if this still is the case and subject to change)
What this means for TD: 5k is not to much for players further into the game, however because TD has been founded on pretty much recruiting newer players TD may experience a speed bump. Currently TD has 22 registered users on the forums, that means a guild tax of about 110k. For newer players 5k may be stiff, so we should find a way for the older more well off players to support the guild bank. Personally seeing how the fee is not as much as i thought it was, this shouldn't be a problem, however if it changes or is different, this may effect how TD operates.
In conclusion: TD should be fine off I don't believe there will be much of a problem with it. However please be aware of the guild bank and about donating.
I will try to answer any questions you may have.

| I'll be willing to donate what I can. But I know you need 30 rep to trade pokemon, does that include money too? Otherwise, I couldn't. Why is it really necessary to pay a tax; who or where does it go to? If it's in game money, then how is it any use to whoever operates the guild system? | |

I'd say the money is just an upkeep cost for the guild (as well as being a way for them to take excess money out of the game), as well as: - Quote :

You don't need any rep since the money is given to Playerdex rather than to a member of the guild.

| Should we consider giving new members who have just started in PWO a grace period of about a month where they aren't expected to donate so they have time to establish themselves in game? 5000 is an awful lot when you first start out and hearing they'd have to pay that much money might prevent newer players from joining. | |

| Yeah Felipe, I think we have no choice because obviously you can't make them pay if they don't have the funds. But then again, it is a way to keep out the inactive users which only brings up our tax... but still I think we will have enough of a reserve to draw money from if some don't make the payment that month.
And then once we start settling in and host our tournaments, start up a daycare, earning money from events such as the PWO bingo, buying low, selling high, etc; we will have some spare cash to keep incase of emergency. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
